I was excited because I took the Stromma tour in Copenhagen and it was really good. This one was a bit disappointing. I used the green hop on hop off boat as a means of transportation. This worked fine as a way to see the harbor but the audio guide was mediocre at best and the boat was slow. Honestly, I would skip this and get on a ferry.

I am usually sea sick a lot, but took the tour for my kid and even though it was a windy day the boat wasn’t swaying much, or hasn’t affected me a lot ( maybe because it’s close to the water 🤷‍♀️? ). Fun ride, can recommend it for whole family

Booked the 24h boat and bus hop on hop off, they were both semi-easy to find and both were also in decent condition.

But the ride it's almost the same as taking the public transport in terms of the information provided by the tour, 90% of the time it's completely silent.

The recordings on the boat were pretty lame.

Only worth it if you have small children and this kind of things are your only way of seeing more of the city, otherwise don't waste yor money.

Ticket gekauft an Tischen neben offiziellem Ticketcenter. Glaubten bei gleicher Firma gekauft zu haben. Dann nur alle Stunden ein Boot nach Fjäderholmarna (kleine Touristeninsel). War nur auf Geldmachen ausgelegt, Leute dort unfreundlich. Beim Retourfahren zeischenstopp am Nacka-Strand gemacht. Obwohl 2 Stunden dort und vom Bootspersonal in Aussicht gestellt, kein Boot mehr gekommen. Haben dann Tickets zusätzlich bei offiziellen Fährboot gekauft! Viel besser und erst noch 10mal günstiger! Empfehlung; Dieses Geschäft mit ihren alten Booten meiden und offizielle Kursboote benüzten!

We have tried on several occasions during an entire weekend to use the hop-on hop-off boat (the Green label one, included in the Go City pass) in Stockholm, but to no avail.

In a single day, we managed to wait 45 minutes at the dock by the Vasa Museum (along with dozens other people equally frustrated), before eventually deciding to move on and take a journey with public transport instead.

A different boat service came during this time, but that was of no help, as they naturally wouldn’t know why their competitors would not show up.

Later in the day we went to try catching the boat from under the Royal Palace. We were on time with the schedule but the advice from the crew at the dock was to get a ticket at the kiosk by Strömbron. We rushed there and were told, in turn, we didn’t indeed need an additional ticket with our pass, and we should go to the next stop (Nybrokajen) to catch the last boat of the day.

At the stop, the company crew told us there was not going to be another tour that day, and to come the next day.

The info point nearby also confirmed that there wasn’t another boat coming up at that time, and that, despite their website saying boats would come every half an hour, a more accurate estimate would be every one hour. Except they could withdraw some of the (now hourly) tours in case boats were needed to fulfil other commitments for other types of tours.

All of this is to say that the service is essentially wholly unreliable. That the information you will receive from their website, the local crew staff, and across different locations will be different and confusing and you will most likely end up never even seeing a boat at a dock for hours on end.

I call this a scam.

It was very disappointing, a waste of time, and unpleasant to wait in queue under scorching sun. I am making sure not to recommend anyone to use the Green Hop-On Hop-Off service in Stockholm.

There is no way to get back in time and gain the opportunity to use the wasted time to do another tour or experience instead. Again: very disappointed.

Wir haben ein Ticket gekauft, als wir von der AIDA runter sind, da die Verlaufsstände dort direkt aufgebaut waren. Die Dame dort hat uns dann ein Ticket für Boot und Bus „angedreht“. Dabei hat sie nicht erwähnt, dass die Boote nur Samstag & Sonntag fahren und an den Anlegetagen der Kreuzfahrtschiffe. Sie hat nur gesagt, dass wir das Ticket 24h nutzen können, als wir am nächsten Tag die Bootstour machen wollten, fuhr leider kein Boot…Geld umsonst ausgegeben. An dem Tag waren nur 4 Busse unterwegs, dass heißt man musste manchmal 30 min warten, dass kenne ich nicht so und war sehr enttäuscht. Wenn man an jeden Punkt an dem man aussteigt 30min wartet, gehen mal gut 2 Stunden ins Land…
Auch die Audioguides im Bus gingen nicht und über den Fahrstil und die Höflichkeit der Busfahrer sprechen wir erst garnicht.

Man sollte dann doch zu RedSightseeing gehen, die Busse fahren alle 15 min und die Boote täglich. Und an jedem Stopp stehen Ansprechpartner an die man sich bei Fragen wenden kann.

Boat tours are a great way to see Stockholm as it's made up of so many islands. This hop on hop off tour was included for free in the Go City Pass and it was a perfect way to get from one location to another for us.

Op zich goed geregeld alleen jammer dat 2 augustus geen bus reed en dit niet op de website stomnd, waardoor we dus alsnog een openbaar vervoerticket moesten kopen en haasten om op het station te komen. Niet onoverkomelijk wel vervelend.
